Robert H. Compton retired from his position as Administrative Vice President of Ashland Oil, Inc. culminating his 21-year career with the company. During his tenure with Ashland, Compton was General Counsel for and represented Ashland Petroleum’s Operations, domestic and international, and later was responsible for the management of many corporate functions, including environmental compliance and emergency response, security, occupational health and safety, medical and corporate real estate operations. Before joining Ashland, Compton was in private law practice where he had extensive experience in representing financial institutions and general corporate clients.
