Julie Ann Gregory practices in the firm’s intellectual property section, concentrating in the area of trademark prosecution, litigation involving trademark infringement and unfair competition and copyright law. Her practice also includes trademark clearance and maintenance, the licensing of intellectual property and domain name protection. Ms. Gregory’s practice involves both domestic and international trademark law, and she manages several worldwide intellectual property portfolios.
Ms. Gregory also advises clients on issues involving web site development and copyright protection, domain name registrations and ancillary intellectual property issues pertaining to the Internet. Work includes daily contact with clients in both the United States and abroad to develop branding strategies and maintain intellectual property rights after initiation of use.
Ms. Gregory is a member of the International Trademark Association, the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations. She is a frequent lecturer on issues involving trademark and copyright law. Ms. Gregory was also selected for inclusion in Chambers USA 2008 and 2009. She was identified by corporate counsel as one of America’s leading lawyers for business in their practices.
